One of the 1st occasions I spent a lot of time with Jason was in New Orleans around 2001/2.  A 'study" tour organised by CISCO involved Jason, a welsh lad (Simon?), and me carefully researching and then studying at close hand an unbelievable no of bars in the French Quarter. But we learned a lot.  The difference between a Hurricane and a Typhoon (cocktails), where to go for some unbelievable music and other NO highlights (just before Mardi Gras)!  Jason's laughter was always infectious and got us into conversation with loads of interesting people!  

A great time with a great bloke and that was cemented over the years in West Yorks, in the National Programme and in Warrington.  He was a great human being and I will miss the guy I was proud to call a friend.
